  ....okay, first off...i have to say that Ashlee Simpson is a no talent (slut?) who probably can't even play an instrument or write lyrics.  and after being introduced a year ago to the most talented musician, the fucking musical genius of Matt Nathanson......i havn't been able to listen to much other music cuz i've been so fucking enamored with matt and his music (live shit especially, u can download from www.archive.org  if u look up matt nathanson on the search box at the top of that site.......)

  
  

  but anyway....i hate to admit it, but Ashlee Simson's new album, Autiobiography, actually does kick some ass....yes, it's catchy pop music, but who the fuck cares.....it's nice to listen to artists that are great, Emm Gryner, Blu Sanders, Matt Nathanson, Todd Martin, etc, etc......but sometimes you gotta listen to some Michelle Branch, Britney Spears (she is an evil slut), and the likes of them......

  
  

  and the pic below wasn't meant to show my cat really (even though she IS awfully cute)...it was meant to show my new sneakers that i got on sale at Banana Republic for a steal.  however, I will be paying off the rest of that bill for some time to come.  BR is an evil, overpriced store. but i still love that 80 dollar pair of jeans that i got.  oh well.

  
  

  In other news, i drove backwards w/ my friend to the gym the other day.  that's right.  BACKWARDS.  the whole F***ing way.  i just checked on mapquest, it's a 2.22 mile drive. people were flashing their lights at me and some were honking...but it's like "yo, i'm doing my thing, i'm not bothering you, i'm driving normally except that the car is going backwards....dude what the hell is ur problem"   some guy was riding his bike on a main avenue near the gym (on his way to the gym) and he gave me this evil look.....i thought it was hysterical though.  but maybe that's just me.

  The trip to Pittsbrugh (like a 6 or 7 hour drive) was so much fun.  I went with one of my psychotic friends (well, okay, maybe i'm the one who is psychotic)..... i was driving like a psychotic, and my friend kept on making new names for the different (illegal?) things i was doing on the road....one of the things i was doing was on a 3 lane road, i was pretending to be drunk....going 40 in a 60 swerving, putting on the left turn signal for 2 or 3 miles in a row, then going into the right lane......going back to left lane......still w/ turn signal on......driving on the shoulder....etc, etc.......no cars were daring enough to pass me until i finally got fed up and just revved it up to 80 and left them in the dust.......it was kinda one of those things u had to be there.....

  
  

  as usual Matt gave an amazing performance.  full-band rocks.
